I've Been Tagged?

So, a fellow blogger (Cami) has apparently "tagged me" and is a little miffed that I am not a more diligent comment reader, so Cami.....here you go.

6 Interesting Things About Me:

1. I am a quilter. (Hence The Photo Above) I love, love, love to quilt! Which is interesting because I got a D- in sewing in Home EC and as my instructor was checking my gym bag to grade it...the zipper fell out!
2. I got a tattoo to celebrate the millennium. I was sooo scared I thought I would pee my pants and while gang bangers were sitting by me getting their "tats" and their various anatomy parts pierced, I was promising God all kinds of things to let me live through the night!
3. My first kiss (when I was 23 years old--sad I know) was with a total stranger who was freakin' adorable and was the best man of a wedding I crashed with my Aunt and Uncle in Savannah, Georgia. All I am going to say was there was serious tingling in my toes and I could kick myself for getting so caught up in the moment I didn't get a picture of us together!
4. I love to clean and organize closets! I know maybe this list should be 6 dorky things about me, but I am OCD about closets, drawers, buckets, etc. Anything I can sit down and go through to make it look neater and nicer, I will do it. I drive people in my life nuts because I love to organize and de-clutter! I wish I could get a job doing closets! That would be cool!
5. I have lost 44 pounds since November 1st. I am as shocked as the rest of you! I don't know what is the difference this time, but it is working! Thank the Lord!
6. The first car accident I ever had, I hit the mall. Yes, it i true. 2 weeks after I got my driver's license, I was at the Fashion Place Mall and my drink fell into my lap and I swerved into the oncoming traffic, over corrected and went up on the sidewalk and crashed full speed into Weinstocks wall. I managed to jam the horn and it was blaring for all to hear as I was trying to explain what happened to everyone. It was truly one of the prouder moments I've ever had!

My "Roots" Must Be Showing Today!

Well, it's St. Patty's day and my heritage runneth over! I love this holiday and I had no idea that my sister loved it as much (I think maybe more--you be the judge!) Anyway, it was such fun to hang out wth her and my Mom today I had to share! Today was a good day. I love being Irish! We get our own holiday--EVEN MUSIC!! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
